The specimens found on this website are from the private collection of Mr. G. Benton Taylor. He invested his life in shells and has been touted as having one of the most extensive collections in the world. Since falling ill two years ago the family has been forced to sell some of his prized possessions. Though we regret not being able to keep his collection intact, there is some comfort in knowing that these beautiful shells will enrich the lives of those who share his passion.
